Battle Mode

Battle begins when two non-allied armies or a non-allied army and city come engagement range of each other on the world map. When this happens you will have the option to go to battle mode and personally command your army, or to automatically allow the computer to determine the winner.
When you switch from world mode to battle mode the game will switch from a turn based strategy game to a real time tatical battle game.

World Mode

When starting a new campaign the game will open into "World Mode". In this mode you can move and position your armies, inspect your cities and keep an eye on other nations.
Each city, army and character is limited in what it can do each turn. Cities generate only so much gold and armies can only move so far. You will need to think aboput what you want to do ahead of time. When you've done everything your can and would like to do, you click on the end-turn button (throne in the bottom right corner) to advance the game to the next 3 months.

Strength and Honour

Strength and Honour by Magitech

Strength and Honour is a game of Ancient Empire Building.

It has been over one hundred years since Alexander the Great swept across the Middle East and into Asia. When he died, his vast empire crumbled into petty factions – the Persians and the Egyptians – who now fight to expand their own realms. Rome and Carthage grow more powerful with each passing year, both vying for control of Southern Europe. In the East, Chinese warlords fight for dominance, and northern India belongs to the Mauryan Dynasty. In northern Europe and Asia, the Gauls and Huns bristle, hungry for new territory. You are the leader of one of these great empires, and you must strive to unite your people and guide them to prosperity. You have a long road ahead of you, with great barriers and opportunities. Fail, and your nation will be erased from history. Succeed, and the world will be yours…
